Goodhue County Cooperative Electric Association is a member owned electric cooperative in Southeastern Minnesota serving nearly 5000 members.
Bringing electricity to our rural farms and homes was the challenge Goodhue County Cooperative Electric assumed in 1936 and continues to meet today. Farmers were beginning to demand electric service. Electricity would give them a much better and more profitable way of life and would take much of the drudgery out of farming and housekeeping.
Fast forward to today... GCCEA is continually striving to deliver safe, reliable, and affordable electricity. This now includes creating new ways for our members to interact with the co-op, view and manage usage in ways that works for them, communicate over various platforms, and always evaluating new technologies and programs that will serve our members in the future.
